Cyanid Poisoned Death Victim In Magelang Becomes 4 People

MAGELANG - The death toll is suspected to have been poisoned by drinking water containing cyanide given by IS (57), a resident of Sutopati Village, Kajoran, Magelang Regency, Central Java, increasing by one to four people.

Magelang Police Chief AKBP Mochammad Sajarod Zakun in Magelang, Monday, said the fourth victim with the initials M (52), a resident of Sutopati Village, Kajoran District.

"There are four victims of this suspect's murder. Of these four, three occurred at different times," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 22.

AKBP Sajarod said that victim M was the first victim of the IS suspect which occurred on May 14, 2020.

"On May 14, 2020 at around 20.00 WIB, the victim said goodbye to his family to go to the suspect with the aim of asking for prayers for the money so it would not run out quickly or multiply because the victim was experiencing financial difficulties at that time," he said.

The police chief explained that when he came to the suspect, the victim brought Rp. 3 million in cash and the suspect was given water mixed with cyanide. It is suspected that on the way home, the victim drank water in a plastic package and was found dead on the side of the road.

Meanwhile, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Magelang Police, AKP M. Alfan, said that the victim was found dead not far from the suspect's house at around 21.30 WIB.

"It is suspected that the victim drank the liquid given by the suspect and was found dead at around 21:30 on the side of the road, not far from the suspect's house," he said.

He said so far there were four victims. During the investigation, officers examined 20 witnesses.

This case began with the disclosure of the murder case of L (31) and W (38), residents of Marongan Hamlet, Sukomakmur Village, Kajoran District, Magelang Regency, who allegedly died because they were poisoned by IS.

The results of the development of this case, it turns out that IS is also suspected of killing in the same way against S(63) a resident of Sumberrahayu Village, Moyudan District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region on December 4, 2020.
