Netizens Vote For Ideal Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates, Anies-Erick Defeats Ganjar-Sandi And Andika-Puan

JAKARTA - Political observer and founder of the Indonesian Public Opinion Study and Discussion Group (KedaiKOPI) survey institute, Hendri Satrio, made a poll on his Twitter social media account to record the trends of netizens in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Sunday, November 21. In the poll, there were 3 pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates. The first pair represents the PDI-P, which in the 2024 presidential election will be the only party that can nominate its own partner. The representative of the PDIP champion is the duet of the TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa and the Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani.

While the pair, grouped from the Golkar Party and the Gerindra Party, were in the top 3 winners of the 2019 Presidential Election. This pair is simulated to carry the duet of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno.

While the last candidate is a representative of a combination of other parties besides PDIP, Golkar, and Gerindra. The pair being carried are the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.

“If the composition of the presidential and vice presidential candidates is as below, what do you think? Number 1 is from PDIP, number 2 is Golkar, Gerindra, number 3 is a combination of other parties," said Hendri Satrio in his statement.

The poll, which has lasted almost 24 hours, involved 4,035 voters. As a result, the Anies-Erick pair was at the top with a figure of 75.7 percent. "Ganjar-Sandi only got 18.9 percent. While Andika-Puan 5.4 percent," said Hendri.
