For One Month 8 Children Become Victims Of Sexual Predators, Toy Traders In North Jakarta, 5 Victims Questioned For Information

JAKARTA - Criminal investigators from the Tanjung Priok Port Police, North Jakarta have asked for information from five of the eight victims of sexual violence perpetrated by SA, a seller of children's toys.

"Five victims have only been asked for information. The other three still do not want to be questioned," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Tanjung Priok Port Police Commissioner Adjutant of Police, Sang Ngurah Wiratama to reporters, Sunday, November 21.

Commissioner Adjutant of Police Wiratama said the heinous act of sexual abuse had been going on for the past month. Wiratama said there were eight children who were victims.

"The victims and the perpetrators live in the same neighborhood. The perpetrators themselves sell children's toys every day," he said.

The Criminal Investigation Unit of Tanjung Priok Port Police will coordinate with the Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Empowerment to restore the condition of the victims.

While in the action, the police called the perpetrators to give toys for free as long as they want to comply with their requests.

"The perpetrators gave free gifts in exchange for being held. Currently, the suspect SA has been detained," he said
