Vice President Praises Companies That Can Be Productive During The Pandemic: Amid Limitations, We Are Encouraged To Be Creative

JAKARTA - The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has become a tough challenge for the business world to maintain its productivity. However, not a few companies are able to face this challenge because they can adapt to various changes.

Therefore, to be more adaptive during the pandemic, companies must be able to manage time and human resources (HR), and make good use of technology.

"The success of the company to remain productive or even increase its productivity during the pandemic, cannot be separated from its ability to manage time, human resources and technology in the midst of various restrictions," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin at the 2021 Paramakarya Productivity Award Ceremony at Puri Agung. Convention Hall, Hotel Sahid Jaya, Central Jakarta, Thursday 18 November.

Furthermore, the Vice President said that the pandemic condition had made people aware of the importance of collaboration and cooperation to achieve success. Because according to him, with collaboration, new creative ideas and innovations will emerge, one of which is to increase productivity.

"Working remotely doesn't mean you stop collaborating," said the Vice President.

"In the midst of limitations, we are encouraged to be more creative in collaborating to come up with fresh ideas and innovations," he added.

Therefore, on the same occasion the Vice President expressed his appreciation and hoped that the companies that received the Paramakarya award would continue to grow as well as be a motivation for other companies to continue working in the midst of various challenges.

He also advised that in the future, the productivity that has been achieved can continue to be improved so that Indonesian companies can compete in the global market.

"The company's high productivity must also be directed to produce products that meet various standards and certifications so that they are able to compete in the global market," he concluded.
