Lost In Futsal, Two Student Groups Noise In The Middle Of The Road

JAKARTA - Two groups of high school students in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, were involved in a clash after the futsal match ended. It is strongly suspected that the clash was triggered by one of the groups not accepting the defeat of the futsal match.

The commotion was managed by the officers. Meanwhile, the two students who were detained were handed over to the school for follow-up.

According to information compiled, the clash between the two groups of students occurred on Jalan Raden Said Sukamto, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. The commotion was recorded by amateur video by road users.

The two groups of students were seen hitting each other in the middle of the road, until several motorbikes fell. The clashes made the motorists nervous.

Together with police officers, the motorcyclist residents immediately dispersed the student commotion. When secured, two students were found carrying a "knuckle" bat held in hand.

Daryati, a resident around the scene, said that the cause of the brawl was just a trivial matter. One of the student groups at a futsal match.

"There were about 12 children hitting each other. Just use your hands, don't pay attention (using sharp weapons). They are free clothes, teenage boys. It doesn't take long to stop (disband)," he said at the location, Thursday, November 18.

As a result of the clash, two students were detained by the police for data collection and a statement.

The PLT Principal of SMAN 91 Jakarta, Marihot Malau, said that he received a call from the Pondok Kopi police that a student was being detained by the police.

"I immediately communicated and went to this post, it turns out that two 12th grade students have been detained. Even though this 12th grade, they are doing distance learning (PJJ) at home," he told reporters.

When questioned, these 12th or 3rd grade high school students admitted that they only watched the game.

"According to their confession, their 11th graders and 10th graders played (futsal). Luckily there were no victims, on behalf of SMA 91 I apologize. I have reminded them because of their position at home," he said.
