JAKARTA - The former TNI commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, prayed for the newly inaugurated TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa so that he could carry out his duties smoothly.

"I always pray that General Andika Perkasa can carry out his duties safely and smoothly," said Marshal Hadi in a video broadcast quoted by Antara, Wednesday, November 17.

Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said the field of assignment was like a place to find charity.

"The field of assignment is like a place to seek charity, as a field of worship to God Almighty. Therefore, we will be able to carry out our duties sincerely and sincerely for the main tasks given to us," said Marshal Hadi.

President Joko Widodo inaugurated General TNI Andika Perkasa as TNI Commander replacing Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, who has entered retirement today.

In his statement after the inauguration, General Andika said that he would try to do his best. He will also always follow the direction of the President as the supreme commander.
