Lampung Records Addition Of COVID Cases In 3 Regencies/Cities, Total Cases 49,628

JAKARTA - The number of COVID-19 cases has increased in three districts/cities in Lampung Province. Even though it is not significant, residents are asked not to slack off in implementing the discipline of health protocols (prokes).

Head of the Lampung Health Service, Reihana, said that three districts and cities were experiencing additions, namely Bandarlampung City, Tulangbawang Barat Regency and South Lampung,

The addition of COVID-19 cases in Bandar Lampung City amounted to three people, one in South Lampung and one in Tulang Bawang Barat.

"With the addition of these five people, the total number of cases in Lampung so far is 49,628," said Reihana in a statement in Bandarlampung, Antara, Tuesday, November 16.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered patients in Lampung, explained Reihana, is 45,397. As of today, six people have been declared complete isolation.

Meanwhile, he continued, for the case of death due to COVID-19 in Lampung, there was an addition of one person so that the total number of people who died from being infected with the corona virus was 3,820.

"For patients with suspected COVID-19 status, thank God, there are none," he said.

Although the COVID-19 case in Lampung has been sloping, the Head of Health has asked the public to continue to enforce the implementation of health protocols (prokes) to anticipate a spike in COVID-19 cases.

"To prevent a spike in COVID-19 cases, especially at the end of the year, the implementation of health procedures by the community must be tightened," he said.
