Two Days Not Coming Home, 52-Year-Old Man Found Swollen In The Water Canal In Front Of The Scout Market

JAKARTA - A man's body was found dead in a prone position in a water channel, in front of PD Pasar Jaya Pasar Pramuka, Jalan Raya Pramuka, Palmeriam Village, Matraman District, East Jakarta.

From the identity card of the victim, it is known that Hismansyah (52) is a resident of Kayumanis, Matraman District. The victim died because he fell into a water channel because he was suspected of being drunk.

Wildan (21) an eyewitness to the incident said that the discovery began with information from a motorcyclist who said there was a body in the ditch.

"The victim was wearing a black short-sleeved t-shirt with Bodyguard inscribed. Neat straight hair, fat body, black skin and Levis trousers," he said at the location.

The residents then reported to the Matraman Police. Officers who arrived at the scene immediately processed the crime scene. Police also contacted the victim's family.

Arriving at the location, the victim's child who came to the location could not hold back tears when his father was dead.

The Matraman Police Criminal Investigation Officer, AKP Warsito, said that after receiving reports from residents, they immediately checked.

"His condition has swelled, it is suspected that the victim's death was caused by falling while urinating while drunk," he said.

After examining the victim's body, the police found the victim's identity card.

"There are many tattoos on his chest. There are wounds on the forehead, skin wounds on the body and neck peeling off," he said.

The victim's body was then taken to the RSCM using a Black Cross ambulance. The case is still under investigation by the Matraman Police.

"According to his son's statement, the victim has not been home for two days." he said.
