DKI BPBD Delivers Extreme Weather Forecast On November 15-16

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) conveyed an early warning of extreme weather forecasts in Greater Jakarta in the form of heavy rain and the potential for flooding, on Monday and Tuesday, November 15-16 2021.

Quoted from the BPBD DKI Jakarta Instagram account, Sunday, the extreme weather is expected to occur on Monday, November 15 starting at 07.00 western Indonesia time until Tuesday, November 16 at 07.00 western Indonesia time.

Meanwhile, the impact of potential flooding due to extreme weather with various levels, namely:

1. Central Jakarta City (Standby)

2. North Jakarta City (Standby)

3. West Jakarta City (Standby)

4. South Jakarta City (Standby)

5. East Jakarta City (Standby)

6. Tangerang City (Standby)

7. Depok City (Standby)

8. Bekasi Regency (Standby)

9. South Tangerang City (Alert)

10. Bogor Regency (Alert)

Based on this estimation, the public is advised to remain vigilant and cautious about the potential for extreme weather, namely heavy rain with a short duration, accompanied by lightning and strong winds that have the potential for flooding.
