LPSK Did Not Find Threats Against Anita Kolopaking

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) revealed that Anita Kolopaking received no element of threat. This was discovered after the LPSK conducted an investigation regarding Anita's confession who had received threats.

"We did not find the threat," said the Head of LPSK, Hasto Atmojo to VOI, Wednesday, August 5.

According to Hasto, Anita Kolopaking was seen as just feeling scared. This is because the case of the issuance of travel documents and COVID-19 free letters in the name of Djoko Tjandra also ensnared Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo.

Thus, Anita assumed that she would receive threats from certain parties during the investigation process of the case.

"He felt uncomfortable because his case was related to high-ranking police officers," said Hasto.

That way, said Hasto, currently his party is finalizing the examination and in-depth examination results. Then, it will be discussed to determine the quality in the Anita Kolopaking issue.

"It remains only to make a treatise of the results of the investigation and in-depth study and bring it to the plenary session to decide whether it deserves protection or not," said Hasto.

Previously, Anita Kolopaking asked LPSK for protection because she admitted to having received threats related to the case that is now trapping her.

Anita claimed to have received threats after being named a suspect in the case of the issuance of travel and COVID-19 free letters for Djoko Tjandra. Anita Kolopaking had previously been appointed by Djoko Tjandra to be a legal attorney in the case of a judicial review (PK) at the South Jakarta District Court (Jaksel).

Meanwhile, Anita Kolopaking was named a suspect with criminal charges under Article 263 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and 223 Criminal Code. The determination of the suspect against Anita was based on the results of the examination of 23 witnesses and evidence discussed in the case title.

Apart from Anita, Bareskrim Polri named Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo as a suspect in the same case. Brigadier General Prasetyo was then removed from his position as Karo Korwas PPNS Bareskrim.
