Bripka MN Suspect Of Shooting Colleague To Death Sanctioned Disrespectful Dismissal

MATARAM - The National Police's Code of Ethics Commission, through its verdict, gave administrative sanctions in the form of dismissal or dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) to Bripka MN who became a suspect in the shooting case of his co-worker to death.

The Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Artanto, said that Bripka MN responded to the decision of the KKEP trial by submitting further legal action to the appeal level.

"We are currently in the process of submitting an appeal hearing. A maximum of eight days after the decision of the code of ethics commission is issued," said Artanto, quoted by Antara, Friday, November 12.

The submission of an appeal by the Bripka MN is part of the rights of the suspect undergoing the KKEP trial. Therefore, his party highly appreciates the legal process which is currently awaiting a decision at the appeals commission hearing.

"If the result is still dismissal, then the process will be carried out immediately. Because there is no further legal action after the appeal," he said.

The shooting incident by Bripka MN to the victim with the initials Brigadier HT occurred Monday, October 25, at a house with the address at BTN Griya Pesona Madani, East Lombok Regency.

Based on the results of the crime scene, the victim was presumed dead at 11.20 WITA, about four hours after one of the witnesses found his body lying covered in blood.

The shooting action against members of the East Lombok Police Public Relations was also revealed from the perpetrator's confession.

Related to the motive of the murder case, it is suspected that it was a matter of romance. The perpetrator was jealous of the victim who was suspected of having an illicit relationship with his wife.

From this case, the police have named Bripka MN as a suspect and have detained him at the NTB Police Detention Center.

Bripka MN was named a suspect and is undergoing detention at the NTB Police Detention Center. Because of his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Premeditated Murder Juncto Article 338 concerning Murder.
