MATARAM - The Ministry of Transportation has prepared nine units of fast boats on the Padangbai route, Bali-Lembar, West Lombok, to serve the WSBK World Superbike audience at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

The Head of the NTB Transportation Service, H Lalu Moh Faozal, said that this effort was made to provide comfort for the Mandalika WSBK spectators who headed to Lombok via the Lembar port, West Lombok.

"The Ministry of Transportation has prepared nine units of fast boats, for the convenience of WSBK spectators crossing from Padangbai. It is estimated that the regular activity of the Lembar-Padangbai crossing is very crowded during WSBK," he said in Mataram, NTB, quoted by Antara, Thursday, November 11.

Faozal explained that nine units of fast boats were prepared with a capacity of 80-120 seats. The WSBK Mandalika spectators are served for free, as long as they have purchased the WSBK Mandalika ticket.

In addition to fast boats, the Ministry of Transportation also provides bus transportation within the Mandalika area.

"For buses in the area, 46 units of medium 30 seats have been prepared, plus the event organizer has prepared 61 units," he said.

Buses in this area will serve the mobility of spectators from the bus stop parking location to the Mandalika circuit arena.

Meanwhile, for the WSBK Mandalika transportation mode, which is connected to the five entrance corridors of NTB, the Transportation Agency has prepared 97 vehicles.

"For the five corridors, we have prepared 97 vehicles consisting of three classes. These 9 units of 40-seater buses will operate on the Airport-Mandalika route, then 19 units of 30 seats will be operated for the Mataram-Mandalika route. Meanwhile, the rest will serve the Kayangan-Mandalika corridor route, Mandalika Sheet, and Mandalika Ward," he explained.

In addition to vehicles prepared by the Ministry of Transportation and the NTB Transportation Service, the mobility of the Mandalika WSBK audience will also be supported by special rental transportation units (ASK) or online-based transportation.

Faozal revealed that until now at least almost 1,000 units of ASK vehicles have been recorded and labeled with the WSBK Mandalika sticker.

"ASK is almost 1,000 units, this includes those from hotels and also online-based transportation," he said.
