The KPK Said, Please Be Patient If You Want To Know The Suspect In The Alleged Corruption Of The Tabanan Regional Incentive Fund

JAKARTA - Acting Spokesman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) for Enforcement, Ali Fikri, asked the public to be patient in waiting for the announcement of the suspect and the alleged mode of corruption of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) Tabanan, Bali.

This was conveyed following the circulation of a number of names that were said to have been named as suspects in this case.

"In due course we will convey in full the construction of the case from the results of the investigation, the articles suspected, and of course who has been named as suspects," Ali told reporters, Thursday, November 11.

He said the announcement of the suspect would only be made after the investigation was deemed sufficient and an attempt was made to arrest or detain him.

"We will announce the determination of the suspect when the investigation has been declared sufficient and forced efforts are made to both arrest and detain the suspects," said Ali.

"We hope that the public will continue to monitor the progress of this activity as a form of our transparency as well as efforts to involve the community in every work to eradicate corruption by the KPK," he added.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently speeding up the investigation into the alleged corruption of the Regional Incentive Fund (DID) Tabanan, Bali. Several parties have been investigated in this case.

In fact, the KPK investigators also summoned a witness today for questioning. He is the Head of the Strategic Planning Division of Bank BPD Bali, I Dewa Ayu Rai Widyastuti. However, Ali has not specified what things will be investigated.

"Examining witnesses to the corruption crime of administering the DID in Tabanan Regency, Bali in 2018, the investigator team summoned witnesses on behalf of I Dewa Ayu Rai Widyastuti," he said.

In addition, investigators have questioned the lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University (Unud) who is also the Special Staff for Development and Economics of the Tabanan Regency Government, I Dewa Nyoman Wiratmaja on Friday, November 5. During the examination, the KPK confirmed a number of things, including the proposal and management of incentive funds for Tabanan Regency, Bali.
