MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police held a simulation of securing the contingency of the 2021 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) and World Superbike (WSBK) motorcycle racing events at the former Selaparang Airport, Mataram City.

On Tuesday, November 9, the NTB Police together with all parties involved, including the core organizers of the IATC and WSBK 2021, namely PT ITDC and MGPA, have carried out a final check of event preparation.

In the contingency security simulation, all stakeholders from the racing event at the Mandalika Circuit demonstrated their role in front of the invited guests.

Activities that are simulated include regulating the flow of traffic for visitors, escorting VVIP guests, securing demonstrations, dealing with terror and disasters. All scenes are demonstrated by involving various roles who are experts in their respective fields.

In the simulation, supporting facilities for contingency security were also presented, both from the TNI, Polri, Transportation Service, Satpol-PP, Fire Department, and Basarnas.

From the activity initiated by the NTB Police, the Governor of NTB Zulkieflimansyah was also present and accompanied the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. Likewise with Danrem 162/WB Brigadier General Pol Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, along with all stakeholders from the IATC and WSBK 2021 events.

The Mandalika Circuit on November 12-14 will be the first location for the IATC 2021 motorcycle racing event. A week later, the 2021 WSBK will be held which will also be the closing series of the world-class motorcycle racing event.

In the 2021 WSBK event, the Mandika Circuit is the only Asian series in a series of activities this season.
