Wanted! A Flock Of Clothing Store Robbers In East Aceh Takes Off Rp140 Million

ACEH - The East Aceh Police are hunting for a suspected robbery with firearms who raided a clothing store and took the victim's Rp140 million in cash.

The head of the East Aceh Police, AKBP Mahmun Sinurat, said the suspected perpetrator of the armed robbery being wanted had the initials AZ.

"The police are still pursuing another suspected perpetrator with the initials AZ. We remind AZ to immediately surrender himself to account for his actions," he said in East Aceh as reported by Antara, Tuesday, November 9.

In addition to hunting down AZ, he said, they have also arrested four other suspected perpetrators and secured evidence of FN type firearms along with ammunition and projectiles, more than IDR 47 million in cash, motorcycles, and four cell phones.

The alleged perpetrators are BY alias RR (33), MH (26), and RS (34). The three East Acehnese were arrested in three separate places in Ranto Peureulak District, East Aceh Regency,

And ZL (36), a resident of Ranto Peureulak, East Aceh Regency. ZL was arrested in an empty house in the interior of East Aceh Regency last Sunday night.

"From the results of the investigator's examination and the suspect's confession, ZL is suspected to be the mastermind behind the robbery. Investigators continue to develop the case to uncover the case," said Sinurat.
