Flood Soaks Residents' Houses In White Sand Sawangan Depok, 12 People Evacuated By Gulkarmat Officers

DEPOK - Depok City Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) officers evacuated 12 flood victims in Wadas Block RT03/04 Pasir Putih Village, Sawangan, Depok.

"For the location of the worst flooding, it occurred in Block Wadas RT 03, RW 04, Pasir Putih Village, Sawangan District and all of them have been successfully evacuated," said Head of Gulkarmat Division of Depok City, Denny Romulo to reporters, Monday, November 8.

At that location, said Denny, as many as 12 people from 6 families (KK) had to be evacuated using rubber boats and evacuated to a higher area not far from the location of the incident.

Denny added that the worst flooding occurred in the Sempu Indah Kapling RT 03, RW 01, Cipayung Village, Depok. The number of affected residents is 5 families.

"When near the field of KONI Nature Reserve, Pancoran Mas, the flood submerged 60 houses. And in RT 06, RW 03, Limo village, the number of people affected is 14 families," explained Denny.
