JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has appointed Mochammad Yana Aditya as the main director of PT Transjakarta, and will start working today, November 8th. Aditya replaces Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo who died on October 3, 2021.

Aditya in his written statement said that there were three programs that were mandated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to PT Transport Jakarta (Transjakarta).

The three programs will be the focus of the TransJakarta board of directors led by Yana Aditya, namely a public transportation system that is integrated not only physically but also with the payment system; presenting a fleet of electric buses; and improvement of safe and comfortable services.

According to Aditya, the new Transjakarta directors will realize the three programs through collaboration with related parties.

"Currently we continue to focus on programs, both those that are already running and those that are still in the preparation stage. Through solid collaboration among human beings in the company, Transjakarta can carry out assignments both mandated by the provincial government and corporate programs together," he said. reported by Antara. Aditya explained, TransJakarta is currently still preparing a fleet of electric buses which will gradually replace conventional buses.

"All preparations are being finalized to run smoothly and successfully, with the hope that there will be no problems in the future," he said.

In the future, continued Adit, Transjakarta will continue to improve services from all aspects, which is in line with the mandate of the DKI Provincial Government to provide safe, comfortable and affordable modes of transportation for the community.
