Musni Umar Believes That The 212 Reunion Will Have A Big Economic Impact, Masses Come From Abroad, Hotels Are Full

JAKARTA - The Chancellor of the Ibnu Chaldun University Jakarta, Musni Umar, said that the grand agenda of the 212 Reunion which will be held on December 2 is part of strengthening democracy in Indonesia.

This reunion is even believed by Musni as part of strengthening the economy with the large interest of the masses coming. Not only at home, Musni believes, the masses from abroad will also participate in the action.

"It is hoped that the 212 Grand Reunion can still be held on December 2, 2021. This event has a big economic impact because participants usually come from abroad and domestically," said Musni, quoted from his Twitter page, @musniumar, Monday, November 8.

Musni hopes that the National Monument (Monas) as the location for the 212 Reunion will be opened in December. Musni believes that hotels will be flooded with guests.

"Hotels are full. Hopefully, the central government has opened Monas. If not, I'll suggest it at Al Azhar Kebayoran Baru South Jakarta," explained Musni.

Separately, the General Chair of PA 212, Slamet Ma'arif, admitted that the 212 Reunion would be held on 2 December. "God willing (Reunion 212)," said Slamet when confirmed.

Currently, the organizing committee is busy formulating the event. According to Slamet, the participants will be attended by a number of mass organizations.

"It's just the form of the event that we are discussing," he explained.
