3 Weeks Fugitive, Man Who Stabbed His Neighbor Using An Ax Due To WiFi Finally Arrested

BEKASI – EM's three-week run is over. The man who slashed his neighbor because of the WiFi problem was finally arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cikarang Police in the Babelan area of Bekasi.

Cikarang Police Chief Kompol Mustakim said the perpetrator had fled to Sumatra after slashing his neighbour, Lasdo Apuan (38), with an ax at Perum Karanganyar Resident, Cikarang, Bekasi, to be exact at Lasdo Apuan's house.

The police chief explained, after conducting an examination of the suspect, it was found out that the perpetrator's motive was revenge because Lasdo was accused of stealing the WiFi network. Several times the victim was reprimanded by the perpetrator but still did not admit to using wifi. The perpetrator was annoyed and then approached the victim to his house with an ax to slash the victim.

"The victim suffered a stab wound to the left side of the head," said Mustakim.

Besides Lasdo, the police also secured a number of evidences, such as the ax used by EM, and CCTV footage.

For this incident, suspect EM was rewarded with Article 351 of the Criminal Code and held accountable for his actions in prison.
