New COVID Vaccination Rate 31.62 Percent, Mukomuko Becomes The Lowest Regency Vaccine Achievement In Bengkulu

MUKOMUKO - Deputy Regent of Mukomuko, Bengkulu Province Wasri revealed that the coverage of COVID-19 vaccination in this area is lowest compared to districts/cities in Bengkulu.

The vaccination achievement in Mukomuko was only around 31.62 percent of the 142,831 residents who were targeted for the COVID-19 vaccination.

"Vaccination coverage in our area is the lowest in the province, so we are taking steps such as celebrating the village head election," Wasri said at Mukomuko, Antara, Friday, November 5.

He said his party took steps such as holding a mass vaccination celebration during the simultaneous village head elections in 47 villages in this area.

In addition, every day health center officers in Mukomuko District come to the village to provide vaccinations for the villagers. Likewise with vaccination activities at the Regional Government Office to provide vaccines for ASN, non-ASN to participate in vaccination.

He hopes that with this vaccination movement, all ASN and non-ASN will follow the vaccine. Meanwhile 45,164 people or 31.62 percent of the 142,831 residents targeted for COVID-19 vaccination who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

The 45,164 people consisted of 1,375 health workers, 31,721 public service officers, 2,055 elderly citizens (elderly), and 4,711 youth aged 12-17 years, 5,302 residents received mutual cooperation vaccines.

It was stated that the 31,721 public service officers who had undergone vaccination consisted of personnel from the Kodim, Polres, Brimob, District Attorney, District Court, KPPN, Religious Courts, journalists, BPJS, government employees, BRI, and state civil apparatus (ASN) in the local district government and general public.

However, out of 45,164 residents, only 24,369 people have received a complete injection of COVID-19 vaccination, namely dose I and dose II, consisting of 1,216 health workers, 15,818 public service officers, and 1,123 elderly, and 1,076 adolescents, and 5,136 people receive the mutual cooperation vaccine.
