DKI Provincial Government Requests IDR 1.5 Trillion For Procurement Of Green Open Space In The Preparation Of The 2022 APBD

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government through the DKI City Park and Forest Service proposes a budget of Rp. 1.5 trillion for the procurement of green open space (RTH) next year.

In the draft General Policy on Budget and Provisional Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUA-PPAS) for the 2022 APBD, the DKI Provincial Government previously proposed a budget of Rp. 150 billion.

However, in the KUA-PPAS deepening meeting with Commission D of the DKI DPRD, the proposed RTH budget was proposed to be Rp. 1.5 trillion.

"In the KUA-PPAS draft, Dishut only budgeted 150 billion. In the meeting, the Forestry Service asked for 1.5 trillion. But this is not an increase. If it goes up, it means we have accrued," said Chairman of Commission D DKI DPRD Ida Mahcepat when contacted, Friday, November 5th.

Ida said that the City Parks and Forest Service had reasoned to propose a budget of Rp. 1.5 trillion to pursue the target of making green open space in the 2017-2022 regional medium-term program plan (RPJMD), as well as forestry needs.

However, Ida does not yet know the area of land and the location for the provision of green open space that the subordinates of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan want to buy.

"I don't really remember it, because we haven't concentrated on it and there are no details. What is certain is that the procurement will be in Jakarta," said Ida.

Moreover, said Ida, the nominal budget proposal for this green space will not necessarily be approved by the DKI DPRD. Because, currently the deepening of the 2020 KUA-PPAS APBD is still ongoing.

"This is still in process. Because indeed I as chairman of the commission also see whether the budget is there or not. If the budget is there, it doesn't matter. But if the budget is not there, it's impossible," he added.
