No Verification Of General Andika Perkasa's Wealth, Golkar Politician: Not The House Of Representatives, There Is A KPK

JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives Commission I from the Golkar faction, Bobby Rizaldi, emphasized that his party did not verify the State Organizing Assets Report (LHKPN) belonging to the candidate for TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa.

Commission I of the DPR only verifies the administrative requirements of the candidate for the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, which is currently being investigated. Namely, proof of submission of state officials' wealth reports to the KPK, NPWP, last year's tax return, curriculum vitae and certificate of good health.

According to the Golkar politician, the LHKPN is not substantial to be questioned in the fit and proper test which will be held tomorrow, Saturday, November 6. Moreover, Bobby said, this is not the domain of the DPR because there is an authorized institution, in this case the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"LHKPN as the state administrator who verified it has its own institution, so we consider it finished," Bobby told reporters, Friday, November 5.

Bobby explained that the fit and proper test was more about finding out the perspectives and ideas of the candidate for the TNI Commander in Chief. That is, it is not related to administrative matters such as LHKPN.

"Is it true that this tax report has been issued by the tax office and has been reported. So I think the administrative problem has been resolved, there is no question about it," said Bobby.

It is known that the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Andika Perkasa has submitted the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and is recorded to have assets of Rp. 179 billion.

Although this report is appreciated by the KPK, legal experts still ask Andika to explain the ownership of her property. Especially if his assets amount to far from his income as a state administrator.

Based on data on the elhkpn.kpk.go.id website, Andika's LHKPN was only reported on June 20. This is the first time he is recorded to report his wealth.
