DKI Provincial Government Allows Inul Vizta Karaoke Place, Happy Puppy, Masterpiece Operates, Here Are The Rules

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has now allowed karaoke places to operate, after being closed since the beginning of the PSBB in April 2020.

This is stated in the SE Disparekraf DKI Number 291/SE/2021 concerning Guidelines for Use of Care to Protect Applications and Application of Health Protocols in the Context of Trial of Opening Family Karaoke Businesses for Level 1 PPKM Period in DKI Jakarta Province.

In the SE, Head of the DKI Disparekraf Andhika Permata stated that 62 family karaoke businesses had passed the verification of the DKI Provincial Government's health protocol assessment team.

Now, they are allowed to try out the opening of a karaoke place. Karaoke places that have passed verification include Inul Vizta, DIVA, Masterpiece, NAV, Happy Puppy, The Voice, and other places.

When operating, karaoke venues in Jakarta must use the PeduliLindung application to screen visitors.

"It is obligatory for owners/managers of family karaoke businesses to register the QR Code for the Care to Protect application through the Indonesian Family Singing House Entrepreneurs Association (APERKI)," said Andhika, quoted by SE, Friday, November 5.

Then, the capacity of visitors in the karaoke room is limited to a maximum of 25 percent of visitors from the normal capacity. Then, the use of the singing room is limited to a maximum of 50 percent which can operate from the number of available rooms.

In addition, managers are also required to carry out health protocols such as checking body temperature, maintaining distance, wearing masks, and mandating vaccinations for visitors and employees.

"All employees and visitors without exception who enter the family karaoke business place must have been vaccinated against COVID-19, have a vaccine certificate listed in the PeduliLindung account," he said.

The DKI Provincial Government only limits visitors from using the singing room for a maximum of 3 hours. Karaoke place reservations are required to be made online using non-cash payments. If the payment is cash, the business manager is required to provide a UV machine.
