Campuses Asked To Develop Guidelines For The Prevention Of Sexual Violence

JAKARTA - Universities are asked to prepare guidelines for the prevention and handling of sexual violence as part of the issuance of Permendikbudristek Number 30 of 2021 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education, which is set on August 31, 2021.

Reported by Antara, Thursday, November 4, in the regulation consisting of 58 articles, it is stated that a number of university obligations in preventing sexual violence are carried out through learning, strengthening governance, and strengthening the culture of the student community, educators, and education staff.

Article 6 explains prevention through learning, namely that university leaders require students, educators, and education staff to study the prevention and handling module of sexual violence set by the ministry.
