"Regarding the discovery of the corpse in Ciburuy Village, the forensic doctor at the Dradjat Prawiranegara Hospital said that the body was not a victim of mutilation because there were no signs of violence against the corpse," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, AKBP Shinto Silitonga to VOI, Wednesday, November 3.
"The identity of the victim is based on the results of the investigation by members of the Criminal Investigation Department in the field and the results of expert testimony from forensic doctors, which concludes that 99 percent of the victims are Murtado bin Emed (late) aged 34 years, whose address is at Kampung Pasir Gintung RT 03 RW 01 Sukajaya Village, Kroncong District, Pandeglang Regency," Shinto continued.
He also explained that the structure and arrangement of the bones of the corpse appeared to have broken parts between the arms and legs, this was due to the condition of the corpse being in an open space.
"The corpse found at the scene looks broken between the arms and legs, only bones are left caused by decay factors. Because the corpse is in an open room where the decomposition process is fast due to hot weather, rain and wind. It's different if the corpse is inside room or in the grave," he explained.
"Based on the results of the forensic examination, the doctor said that no damage was found due to any object to the bone joints," he concluded.
