Wanting To Buy Gasoline, KKB Member Nduga-Yahukimo Yentinus Kogoya Arrested

JAKARTA - The Nemangkawi Task Force succeeded in apprehending a member of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), Yentinus Kogoya. He is a member of the KKB in the Nduga and Yahukimo regions.

"The person in question is a subordinate of the KKB leader for the Nduga region, Egianus Kogoya and the leader of the Yahukimo KKB, Tendius Gwijangge," said Head of the Nemangkawi Ops Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, in a statement, Wednesday, November 3.

The arrest of Yentinus Kogoya began when the Nemangkawi Task Force conducted a patrol on November 2. Then, information was obtained if KKB was seen in Dekai-Yahukimo City.

"The team immediately moved quickly and carried out an investigation in the residential area of Dekai City line 3," said Kamal.

As a result, Yentinus Kogoya was seen. He was seen riding in a ride with Benius Giban's brother (19) who was about to buy gasoline. So, they were immediately arrested.

After being arrested, the two were immediately taken to the Yahukimo Police Station for further investigation. The results of the provisional examination, Yentinus Kogoya is known to have lived for several years in Yahukimo.

"From the results of the initial examination of the KKB DPO, it is known that Yentinus Kogoya is a member of the Nduga and Yahukimo KKB and has been in Dekai City, Yahukimo-Papua Regency for 4 years and he works in a mine located in Kali I, Yahukimo Regency," explained Kamal. On the other hand, Kamal said that Yentinus Kogoya had been a fugitive since last June. Where, the arrest of the fugitive was based on the Yahukimo Police Police Report with Number LP/16/V/2021/Papua/Res Yahukimo, LP/23/VI/2021/PAPUA/RES YAHUKIMO dated June 25, 2021 and LP/27/VII/ 2021/Papua/Res Yahukimo, 10 July 2021.

"Yentinus Kogoya is currently still undergoing intensive investigations regarding his involvement in the Nduga and Yahukimo KKB groups in the Yahukimo Regency area," said Kamal.

Meanwhile, during the arrest, the Nemangkawi Task Force secured several pieces of evidence. Among them, 5 electronic ID cards of An Nus Haselo, Stephanus Pangalerang, Rutin Please and Delius Gwijangge, SIM C and BPJS cards in the name of Stephanus Pangalerang, BRI ATMs, 1 bullet caliber 45 ACP, 1 bullet cartridge of 5.56 caliber, 1 card Amazone, 3 coupons, IDR 75 thousand.
