Firli Asks The Regional Head Not To Make It Difficult For Entrepreneurs To Invest By Asking For A Quota

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri asked regional heads to facilitate the granting of business permits for entrepreneurs who want to invest in their area.

He appealed to no leaders in the regions to make it difficult for entrepreneurs by asking for quotas and permits must be given quickly.

"We hope that stakeholders, regional heads will not complicate business permits. Make and make business easier, open investors as wide as possible," Firli said, quoted from an online discussion broadcast on KPK YouTube, Wednesday, November 3.

Even though he was quick, he reminded him not to let this effort become a loophole for impertinent behavior. He hoped that the acceleration of granting permits would not necessarily be followed by requests that violate the laws and regulations.

"Of course we want to invite every child of the nation, every party engaged in infrastructure and housing, not to be involved in corruption cases," said the former Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK.

Furthermore, Firli also ensures that behavior in the investment sector will certainly be dealt with by the KPK. He emphasized that he would not indiscriminately treat the perpetrators of corruption and those who dare to hinder investment by committing corruption.

Moreover, corruption in the investment sector is tantamount to hurting people's hearts because this action delays regional progress. "Investment is an important keyword because with easy investment it will find jobs," said Firli.

"Because of the open job opportunities, it will certainly affect income, large income increases of course will also increase public consumption," he concluded.
