SAMARINDA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin said the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia was in the best category in the world, so that transmission cases became sloping.

“Thank God, we are among the best, what in the world (us) is considered yellow, it is almost green. Ma'ruf Amin appreciated all levels of local government, community leaders, and religious leaders who played a role in overcoming COVID-19 cases.

A number of developed countries have experienced an increase in cases of COVID-19 transmission due to ignoring health protocols.

"We must not be complacent, remain vigilant, because many other countries that had been declining before but continued to rise again. In Europe, there are 23 percent, even 43 percent,” said Ma'ruf Amin.

Vice President Ma'ruf hopes that the current condition of COVID-19 transmission in Indonesia can be maintained and suppressed without having to experience a third wave.
