Jakarta PPKM Level 1, Restaurants To Warteg May Be Open Until 22.00 WIB, 75 Percent Capacity

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Province will implement PPKM Level 1 for the next two weeks, from November 2 to 15, 2021. This is stated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 57 of 2021 concerning PPKM Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1 COVID-19 in the Java Region and Bali.

Previously, Jakarta implemented PPKM Level 2. One of the different restrictions when implementing PPKM Level 1 now is the operational hours of eating and drinking activities in public places.

Currently, restaurants, cafes, food stalls, warteg, street vendors, hawker stalls, and the like are allowed to open and serve dine-in until 22.00 WIB.

Then, the maximum capacity of visitors is allowed up to 75 percent. This rule applies to stand-alone places or inside malls or shopping centers. Previously, while implementing PPKM Level 2, restaurants in Jakarta were only allowed to operate until 21.00 WIB and had a maximum capacity of 50 percent.

In addition, eating activities in areas that apply PPKM Level 1 are no longer limited to a maximum duration of 60 minutes such as PPKM Level 2, 3, and 4.

The next rule is that all visitors and restaurant employees in Jakarta who apply PPKM Level 1 are required to use the PeduliLindung application for screening.

Then, for restaurants or cafes that start operating at night, they can operate until midnight or 00.00 WIB. But for the record, the new place opened after 18.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, restaurants or cafes located in cinemas are allowed to accept meals in places with a maximum capacity of 75-five percent and a maximum meal time of 60 minutes;
