Ageless, Melly Goeslaw Has Her Own Way To Create Teen Songs

JAKARTA - Musician Melly Goeslaw has been poor across the music industry. He has worked on various songs for the Indonesian music industry.

Today, September 8, Melly is known to have participated in Dinda Ghania's new song titled Teman Rasa Boyfriend. Even though he has 26 years of career, he finds it difficult to write songs, let alone youth songs.

"Actually the most difficult thing for a composer to write a song for an 11-year-old is the lyrics," said Melly at a press conference.

He said that Dinda's character still looks like a child, so she makes songs that can be enjoyed by all ages, but not far from the norm in our country.

"The characters are very childish. The soul has matured," said Melly.

"Whatever they see, it may have shifted slightly from their age. But for Indonesian songs, we must prioritize or heed the norms that are in accordance with our country," he continued.

Melly herself was proud to be able to participate in Dinda Ghania's new work. He has a message for Dinda who is still working at a young age.

“Because you have entered the gates of music and the world is very universal. So you have to be ready with everything, be resilient,” said Melly to Dinda.
