In 2022, Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo Operates Golf Course, Movieland, And Music Performance Venue At The MNC Lido City Special Economic Zone

JAKARTA - Executive Chairman of MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, immediately accelerated the construction of five projects at MNC Lido City. This was done after MNC Lido City officially received the status of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

Hary Tanoe detailed that the first facility targeted for completion in 2022 is international golf which has met the Professional Golfer Association (PGA) standards. Furthermore, the Music and Art Center, which is a special area for performing arts including music and concerts, requires a large enough space.

"This imitates the way abroad, so when performing arts or music there can be two or four stages at once and can accommodate 50,000 people", said Hary Tanoe, during the handing over of Government Regulation No. 69 the Year 2021 SEZ of MNC Lido City and Inauguration of Lido World Garden Construction, Wednesday 8 September.

Furthermore, Hary Tanoe also hopes that Movieland can operate in 2022. With the presence of this facility, he hopes that film production or TV production can be helped.

"The Lido World Garden project, which was just inaugurated today, is also targeted to be opened next year. In collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Lido Wold Garden, aka a technology-based agro area, can be a better and more productive pilot project", he explained.

In addition, in the MNC Lido City SEZ project, there is also Villa Bung Karno, which will later build a hermitage and mosque. Hary explained that this project would later be granted and inaugurated directly by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil.

This year, Hary is also targeting to lay the groundwork for the theme park which is the main icon of the MNC Lido City SEZ. According to him, this theme park is bigger than Universal Studios in Singapore.

For information, today Hary Tanoe has received Government Regulation (PP) No. 69 of 2021 which was signed by President Joko Widodo on June 16, 2021. The handover was carried out by Deputy VI of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs for Regional & Spatial Planning, Wahyu Utama, who represented Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto.
