30 Years On, Here's The Latest Baby News On Nirvana's Album Cover, Nevermind

JAKARTA - The name Spencer Elden became popular because he was a baby figure on the cover of Nirvana's 1991 album Nevermind. Iconic of all time, in fact Elden was not satisfied with the album cover.

After 30 years, the baby appears again. Spencer Elden sued the band Nirvana consisting of Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Kurt Cobain. Why?

In addition to the three members of Nirvana, Elden is also suing album cover photographer, Kirk Weddle, designer Robert Fisher, record label Universal Music and Geffen Records and the band's former drummer, Chad Channing.

Citing TMZ today, August 25, Elden claims they sexually exploited a child while he was a minor. Elden admitted he had suffered injuries and losses throughout his life because of the artwork.

In the document, the band Nirvana is considered irresponsible to keep Spencer Elden. They said Cobain had agreed to edit the image but eventually the album Nevermind was released with a cover without stickers.

Elden also admitted that he did not receive any compensation after the success of Nevermind. Currently, he is asking the defendants to pay losses of up to 150 thousand US dollars.

In 2016, Elden said he had not agreed to appear on the cover and was trying to take legal action. He tried to contact Nirvana but there has been no response from asset holders Kurt Cobain and Grohl and Novoselic.
