Ismaya Live Cancel We The Fest 2020

JAKARTA - It does not count how many music events have to be canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 event. Most recently, there is Ismaya Live's annual festival, We The Fest.

Through its social media on Wednesday, June 17, Ismaya Live announced this cancellation. They wrote, “It is with big hearts to announce that We The Fest 2020 will not be held as planned. Please take a moment to read our statement. "

However, Ismaya Live assured fans that they will come back next year. For fans who have bought tickets, the promoter will give a token of IDR 300 thousand to be used at the 2021 edition of the festival.

In February, Ismaya announced the first phase of this year's We The Fest line-up starting with Migos, Masego, Cheat Codes, Blackbear, Oh Wonder, Ookay, Shallou, Alextbh, and Clairo.

A number of local musicians such as Naif, Sheila on 7, The Changcuters, Isyana Sarasvati, Moon Gang, Hondo, Jason Ranti, Gabber Modus Operandi, and Oslo Ibrahim also entered the lineup.

Unfortunately, concert lovers, especially We The Fest, have to stop having fun. Because the festival which was supposed to be held on August 14, 15 and 16 was canceled.

Prior to We The Fest, there was 88Rising's Head in the Clouds, One Ok Rock solo concert, and many other music festivals / concerts that had to be rescheduled or canceled.

Not only in Indonesia, but abroad, music festivals such as Coachella and Summer Sonic are also canceled this year.
