JAKARTA - Musician Andre Manika passed away on Thursday, July 29. Andre Manika is the brother of musicians Katon Bagaskara and Nugie. In addition, he is also known as a singer.

Through his Instagram account, Nugie uploaded a photo of his brother as well as wrote condolences.

"Sugeng Follows to my Father Kangmas's house, mas Andre Manika (goodbye to Father's house, my brother). A lot of inspiration and kindness from you has become our guide for your brothers and sisters. We are all proud and love you, Mas," said Nugie.

Katon Bagaskara also wrote a message of condolences to his brother. "The one who taught me to play the guitar, my inspiration became able to compose songs, compose poetry, and those who made the song NEGRI DI AWAN, SELEMBUT AWAN, JALAN SEPANJANG NANGAN .."

Reportedly, Andre Manika died sleeping in his room.

Born on November 2, 1962, Andre Manika released the album Kidung Kencana which was a hit. His song, Negeri di Cloud, sung by Katon Bagaskara is also widely listened to by music listeners.
