JAKARTA - Singer Lewis Capaldi is reportedly working on a documentary that captures his musical journey.

Launching NME today, Thursday, June 10, this documentary is his collaboration with director Joe Pearlman under the production of Pulse Films.

Pulse Films is the creative team that produced musical films such as Beastie Boys Story and Beyonce's Lemonade.

Although the title has not been revealed, the documentary was shot for more than a year. The film focuses on Lewis Capaldi's life as his global tour sold out and set records with his debut album.

In addition, the film also features Capaldi returning to his parents' home in Scotland to work on his second album.

“I decided to film the whole process for your viewing,” Capaldi said. He had great pressure to record a second album that should have surpassed the achievements of his debut album.

Not only the title, this documentary does not yet have a release date. However, the film will be introduced at the Cannes Virtual Film Market at the end of June.

Lewis Capaldi only started his commercial music career in 2019 when he released Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. This album won several prestigious awards and nominations such as Critics' Choice, Singles Chart, Billboard and even a Grammy Award.
