Through an official statement uploaded on Instagram, Wayang announced that the vocalist, Wahyudi Ramdhan, had left the band.
"Wayang is now officially separated from Wahyudi Ramdhan," read the band's official statement, quoted Friday, January 2.
"We are grateful for the voice, time, and energy that have been an important part of Wayang's journey to this day," he continued.
Even though he is now only supported by the bassist, Ahmad Fauzi alias Odji, Wayang ensures that he will continue to step into the Indonesian entertainment industry.
"Wahyudi Ramdhan's decision to part ways does not deter Wayang from continuing to work," the band said.
"The journey of Wayang will continue. A new history will be written again. See you in 2026," he concluded.
For information, Wahyudi is one of the early members of Wayang when they debuted in the national music industry.
He has performed various best Wayang songs, such as "Damai", "Tak Selamanya", to "Dongeng", which has made their names popular among listeners.
