JAKARTA - Singer Arya Windura officially resigned from the band Yovie & Nuno, who had been with him for the last seven years.

In fact, Windura's departure was revealed in September 2020, but it wasn't until Thursday, May 27 that YWMF management officially confirmed it.

Windura's decision to resign, as quoted by Antara from a management press release, was because he was starting a new business and needed more time, and there were different priorities.

Windura was chosen to be the vocalist for the band Yovie & Nuno through the #GalauCariVokalis audition held by YWMF in 2012 which was followed by the announcement of the winners in 2013.

During their seven years with Windura, Yovie & Nuno have released one album, Still the One in 2014 and a single titled Demi Hati in 2019.

In total there are nine song recordings that were born by Yovie Widianto (producer), Muchamad Ahadiyat (guitarist), Pradikta Wicaksono (vocalist), and Ady Julian (keyboardist) along with Windura.

Despite being left behind by one of their personnel, Yovie & Nuno continued their career in the music industry, one of which was through the latest single titled Sajadah Panjang which is the original theme song (OST) of the same series produced by MAXstream.

For this new single, Yovie & Nuno performed for the first time with a three-member formation, namely Diat, Dikta, and Ady.

Not only in the form of a single, this song will also be present in the music video version which will be released in June.

Yovie & Nuno are also in the process of recording their latest album which is scheduled to be released this year. For the details, they are still keeping it a secret for the time being.
