Coming to Indonesia, VVUP Member Curious to Try This Food

JAKARTA - VVUP admitted that they were curious to taste various Indonesian specialties such as nasi padang to seblak. They revealed this when visiting Jakarta.

"This is the first time I've come home after two years of debut. I really miss Indonesia, especially now that I'm with the members and the thing I miss the most when I was a trainee, maybe padang rice because there is no padang rice in Korea," said Kimberley Fransa Salim or Kim in a press conference in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA on Friday, December 26.

Kim told the story that since arriving in Jakarta on Thursday night, the members had not had the opportunity to taste Indonesian food. The busy schedule even required them to try on costumes (fitting) to appear at 2 o'clock in the morning.

Therefore, if given the opportunity, Kim said another food he would like to try is rendang, chicken opor and curry.

Meanwhile, VVUP's youngest member, Jiyoon, admitted that he really wanted to eat fried rice that actually used Indonesian mixed spices and satay.

Paan, who is a member from Thailand, agreed that he really wanted to eat fried noodles. Although he had tried it in Korea, he was sure that the taste would be different if he ate it directly from the country of origin.

"After that I also want to try what it's called? Seblak!" said Paan.

Unlike Suyeon who admitted that he was enthusiastic about eating fried rice. He also said that he really wanted to visit the Blok M area which Kim said was a place with various interesting foods that people liked.

VVUP's visit to Indonesia on Friday, December 26 at Lippo Mal Puri, Jakarta to greet VVinie (the name of his fan group) is part of a series of events titled "Mark & Lona House Party With VVUP".

The clothing brand Mark & Lona invites VVUP to collaborate to introduce a collection of clothing sold to its fans. This collaboration brings together the worlds of fashion, music, and pop culture in one unified experience.

The brand wants to present a lifestyle approach that is relevant to young people, while VVUP brings the spirit of K-pop that is close to its fan community.

With great enthusiasm for K-pop culture in Indonesia, the presence of VVUP in the event is expected to be one of the memorable closing moments of the year, as well as strengthening Jakarta's position as an important point on the map of international artist activities.
