Clown Confirms Slipknot's 'Hilang' Album Released Next Year

JAKARTA - The long wait of the Maggots is called for loyal Slipknot fans to finally find a bright spot. The metal band from Iowa, USA, preparing to release their "lost" album, "Look Outside Your Window".

This assurance ends the speculation that has lasted nearly two decades, since the album material was recorded.

As for the affirmation of the release schedule, it came directly from one of the founders of Slipknot, Shawn "Clown" Crahan, who confidently stated that 2026 is "the year" for the highly anticipated recording to finally be rolled out to the public.

"Let's start with Look Outside Your Window, I know I told everyone that it will be released this year," said Clown, via the Discord platform with fans recently.

"I'm so sorry it hasn't happened yet. Things that play a role that change things all the time with the art we create. I want you to know that 2026 is the year," he added.

Clown himself admitted that he was tired of waiting to release the work and begging Slipknot fans around the world to keep having faith.

"It's just a matter of time and I myself started to get tired of waiting. Have faith. I promise," he said lagI.

The album 'Look Outside Your Window' was recorded in 2008, along with their fourth studio album, All Hope Is Gone.

This material is done by an internal quartet, consisting of Shawn Crahan, Sid Wilson, Jim Root, and principal vocalist Corey Taylor.

This album has become a legend among fans for offering different musical dimensions from Slipknot's heavy metal craze.

Corey Taylor himself once gave instructions on the direction of the tape. He said that the album had "much more Radiohead nuances" in contrast to the brutal and aggressive image of Slipknot music.

While the public is waiting for the release of this historic archive, Slipknot also ensures that they are busy working on new material.

This news was confirmed by Eloy Casagrande, who revealed that the creative process in the recording kitchen was ongoing.
