JAKARTA - The family of the late Ozzy Osbourne exposed a great secret that enveloped the Prince of Darkness's final days.

The Black Sabbath vocalist is known to have been rushed and hospitalized in secret, just two weeks before appearing at his farewell show with Black Sabbath on July 5.

The story was clearly revealed by Ozzy's wife, Sharon Osbourne, and her children, Jack and Kelly, in the first episode of The Osbournes Podcast after the death of the heavy metal pioneer.

The family acknowledged the great fear at the time that news of Ozzy's entry into the hospital would be leaked to the public. It was this fear that prompted them to take extraordinary steps to ensure confidentiality was maintained.

"So, we have all the security and the hospital. The hospital is extraordinary. Really, the people at the front desk were told, 'Nothing, if they were looking for Ozzy, she wasn't here. No one was allowed to go up,' all that. "recalled Sharon, telling the strict checking details.

Then, there was a man who claimed to be Ozzy's brother to the hospital, and asked to visit the musician's place of treatment.

Sharon, who is in paranoid fashion to maintain her husband's privacy, immediately believes that the man is a cunning reporter who disguises himself as Ozzy's brother, because they haven't told you anything.

"So, I sent security down and I said, 'Look who this guy is, he must be from the press,'" added Sharon. "They are not the most polite people in the world; they are the most threatening people.

But the allegation was a big mistake. Sharon said the man did want to visit his brother, John Osbourne, Ozzy's real name.

This man kept saying, 'He's my brother, he knew I was coming.' After disturbing this poor man, (they found) there was John Osbourne (other) in the hospital, and the man was his brother. We feel very guilty, "said Ozzy's wife.

Despite telling the hidden drama, the family chose not to reveal specifically the reasons why the 'Crazy Train' singer had to undergo treatment at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the newly disclosed incident adds to the long list of health problems experienced by Ozzy Osbourne in recent years, including a series of spinal surgery as a result of falling in 2019, as well as a diagnosis of the parkinson disease he received in the same year.
