JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has officially named the Director of PT Melani Citra Permata or Mecimapro, Fransiska Dwi Melani, as a suspect in the alleged embezzlement of funds reported by PT Media Inspiration Bangsa (MIB).
PT MIB's attorney, Aldi Rizki, explained that this case began with the collaboration of holding the K-Pop TWICE music concert in Jakarta on December 23, 2023.
"The reported party was reported on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement of funds provided by PT MIB," Aldi said in a written statement quoted by VOI, Thursday, October 30.
According to him, the reporting party has tried to resolve this issue by deliberation and kinship, but did not receive a positive response.
PT MIB then sent a summons regarding the refund and cancellation of the financing agreement, but Fransiska did not respond to this effort.
As a result of this act, PT MIB admitted that it had suffered financial losses reaching tens of billions of rupiah.
After all the communication and subpoena efforts failed to produce results, on January 10, 2025, PT MIB officially reported this case to Polda Metro Jaya through Police Report Number: LP/B/187/I/2025/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA.
