AHmad Dhani Leaks Royalty Costs 1 Song At Dewa Concert 19 Feat All Stars

JAKARTA - Ahmad Dhani is one of the musicians who continues to speak up to fix the music royalties royalties system in Indonesia. As a musician who pays song licenses for records or concerts, he also shares his experience.

Through Instagram uploads, Dewa 19's conceptor displays an invoice from Aquarius Musikindo, the label that houses the group. It states the amount of royalties that must be paid to perform Whitesnake's song, Still of the Night.

Just to show one song, the label must pay around Rp55 million. This figure is divided into royalties, Rp49.5 million and VAT 11 percent of Rp5.4 million.

"Let's know the price of ROYALTI," Dhani wrote briefly in his uploaded statement, October 25.

The song Still of the Night itself became one of the lists featured at the Dewa 19 feat All Stars 2.0 concert at GBK 10 September. You can imagine the royalty costs of the total songs and performers involved in the event.
