Rizky Febian Reveals Mahalini's Struggle To Prepare For Comeback Through A New Album After Giving Birth

JAKARTA - Mahalini marked a comeback after a hiatus period after giving birth by preparing to release her second full album titled "Koma". The album, which contains ten old songs and seven new works, features a fresher feel, although the launch date is still kept secret.

Behind the news of Mahalini's return, her husband, Rizky Febian, couldn't help but feel emotional. The man who is familiarly called Iky became the main witness to all career struggles and life phases that Mahalini went through until this album was born.

"I was the first person to know everything about the trip," said Rizky Febian with a slightly shaking voice, to the media crew in Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 9.

Iky recalled the moment when Mahalini, who was at the peak of popularity, actually made a big decision to vacuum in order to focus on the pregnancy and birth of their first child, Zaiere Selina Quinlyn Kareema Febian. He praised his wife's decision as an extraordinary sacrifice.

"I want to thank my wife because she was willing to sacrifice anything in order to give birth to Selina and was willing to leave her career when she was at her peak at that time," Rizky continued.

Iky also remembers how difficult times Mahalini faced while staying away from the stage. He often finds his wife swept away in sadness, recorded from Mahalini's crying in the room while replaying her old videos on stage.

"He always cries in the room, sees videos of him performing like that. It's like, 'Do you think when I can be like this again?'" Iky recalled.

As a life partner, Iky admitted that he could only strengthen and ensure that God's sustenance would never have made the wrong address.

Furthermore, Rizky Febian also expressed his deep admiration for Mahalini's dedication in the creative music process. He admitted that he had listened to all the material on the album "Koma" and assessed that his wife's efforts in each song were great.

"Even I, who have been in the music world for several years, sometimes I still learn a lot from Mahalini about its consistency, from the work she created," said Iky.

Rizky fully realizes that Mahalini's move to step back for a moment from listening to music is not an easy choice. He saw firsthand how Mahalini had to lower her ego and delay her big dreams from prioritizing her family.

Therefore, Rizky Febian hopes that the album 'Koma' will be a turning point for Mahalini to shine again on the music scene. He believes, this album is an important momentum that the public has long awaited to witness his wife's return to her beloved world.
