One Direction Reunion Without Liam Payne, Louis Tomlineon: I'm Not Sure It's True

JAKARTA - Louis Tomlinson, the One Direction personnel best known for their vocals in promoting group unity, revealed that the band reunion is likely to be difficult now, especially after Liam Payne's death in 2024.

In a recent interview on the podcast "The Diary Of A CEO", Tomlinson did not rule out the possibility of a reunion, but he soon felt the uncertainty caused by Payne's departure.

For the 33-year-old singer, the One Direction reunion was deemed incomplete without Payne's presence.

"I can't imagine... I'm not sure it was justified for (Payne)," said Tomlinson.

Tomlinson called the bitter irony of the situation. According to him, Liam Payne is the most struggling figure than anyone so that One Direction returns together.

"For the sake of an argument, say in 25 years, and it's like the Oasis case... they offered us everything and said 'Go back and do a number of shows.' I don't know," said Tomlinson. "And ironically, no one will campaign for the return of One Direction other than Liam. I will say I am in second place."

In the midst of a conversation about One Direction's memories and future, Louis Tomlinson will certainly appear with Zayn Malik in the new Netflix series of trips.

The series that promises reconnection, exploration, and a lot of laughter will consist of three episodes. In the series, Malik and Tomlinson will engage in intimate conversations about life, love, loss, and the role of a father.

This project has at least surprised fans who have been waiting for their interaction for a long time, especially after their relationship strained after Malik's departure from One Direction.
