Taylor Swift Leaks Reason For Rejecting Super Bowl, Not Because Of Travis Kelce

JAKARTA - Taylor Swift responded to the news that she turned down an offer to appear at the Super Bowl's Halftime Show. She is engaged to Travis Kelce, one of the NFL and Swift athletes, is said to be one of the factors that made Super Bowl last year the most-watched event.

Taylor Swift was rumored to be a performer before Bad Bunny finally came to light as the main performer. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said they were very open whenever Taylor Swift wanted to appear in the Super Bowl.

While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift explained the reason she refused to appear in the Super Bowl had nothing to do with Travis Kelce or anyone else. He also has no problem with rapper Jay-Z which is the owner of the Roc Nation company that organized the Super Bowl.

"Look, Jay-Z is always good with me, and our team is very close," Taylor Swift explained.

"But there has never been an official offer or conference talk, but rather 'How about the Super Bowl in general? And we always tell him that I fell in love with a man who plays sports in that field," he explained.

Furthermore, he does not want to be divided into two focuses between Travis or focus on his performances. He also stressed that Travis was not related to his decision.

"Can you imagine if you played every week, risking his life doing this sport and I thought 'What's my choreography like? We have to go on Shake It Up, Blank Space or Cruel Summer' It has nothing to do with Travis," Taylor Swift said.

"He wanted me to do it but I was too focused on the game," he said.

This isn't the first time Taylor Swift has been linked to the Super Bowl. Before starting with Travis Kelce, Swift was said to have rejected an invitation to appear in 2023 because she focused on re-recording her catalog.
