Kicking My Feet itself marks the start of a new era for Ruel; an era that feels more creatively free, more emotional nuances, and more daring sonic than ever before.
After moving from Sydney to Los Angeles and signing a contract with Giant Music, Ruel sank into a new creative ecosystem and started building this album from scratch.
"I know I want to challenge myself in this new album, but it's only when I have to finalize the tracklist, I realized that I actually made more than 200 songs for Kicking My Feet," said Ruel.
