Bodok Koplo's Group Prepares To Go Viral Again Through A New Single: Love Tau Mama (Sunday Night)

JAKARTA - The country's rising music collectors, the Bodonk Koplo (Robokop Koplo) group, returned to greet their listeners through the latest original single entitled Love Tau Mama (Sunday Night).

This single is a follow-up to the Koplo Loop consisting of Clarisya Putri Maula (Acica), Erika Putri, Galih Fajar (Galgadun), Alfriki Azhari (Bang Bodok), and DJ Aji Suherri (Ajicore) after shocking the social media world through their songs, Calon Mantu Idaman which went viral in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

Still carrying music with fresh and humorous nuances, Love Tau Mama (Sunday Night) is intended as a new soundtrack for young people. The lyrics are light, the music is energetic, and of course wrapped with a touch of koplo that makes the body sway.

The message from the song 'Love Tau Mama (Sunday Night)' is still continuing the story of the song 'Candidate Mantu Idaman'.

This song is from the POV of a girl and a boy who is already dating. The girl asks to rush to be introduced to the couple's parents and the boy needs more confidence to introduce the girl to his parents," said Acid explaining the story of her new song, through a press release to VOI, Sunday, September 28.

"Because according to the guy, it's not enough to love each other. It takes more confidence to go to a more serious level," said Erika Putri.

Koplo's Robokop is used to raising everyday themes into entertainment that is easy for Gen Z listeners to accept, coupled with the exploration of koplo or hipdut music which is now loved a lot.

Interestingly in the latest single, the music collective that has been formed since 2023 adds a new color by including the traditional Indonesian music effect, ranging from the Javanese-Sunda sinde style to the Javanese famous sound.

Behind the scenes, Love Tau Mama (Sunday night) was written together by all personnel. However, the production process was only worked on by Aji Suherri who also acted as producer.

Currently, the new single of the Bodok Koplo (Robokop Koplo) group entitled 'Love Tau Mama (Sunday Night))' can be enjoyed on all digital streaming platforms, and lyric video can be seen on the Warner Music Indonesia YouTube channel.

For information, the single, 'Candidate Mantu Idaman' released on May 16, 2025, has been an important milestone in this collective journey of music from Jakarta. Not only is it crowded on social media, but it has also been played more than 61 million times on Spotify.

This song still sits in 39th place on the Top 50 Spotify Indonesia charts. The cut of the song on TikTok has also been used for more than 5 million videos.
