Gabriella Ekaputri Introduces The Most Personal And Ambitious EP Titled Midnight's Promises

JAKARTA - Gabriella Ekaputri, a young soloist who is also active as an actress, dancer, singer, and digital personality, introduced a new mini album or extended play (EP) with the title "Midnight's Promises".

This EP is Gabriella's next step in going further by releasing the most personal and ambitious musical works.

More than just a mini album, 'Midnight's Promises' is Gabriella's artistic transformation, a new chapter that displays her deepest side, as well as evidence that she is ready to shine as a solo singer.

Four songs were presented in this EP, namely Burning Room, Hopeless Romantic, Little by Little, and Ill Take A Moment. The theme includes emotional injuries, trauma of love, and promises that were betrayed all wrapped in a cinematic pop music arrangement.

Which makes 'Midnight's Promises' special, many names are involved in the creative team, ranging from Harry Sommerdahl, a Swedish producer who has worked with Westlife, The chancecat Dolls, BoA, and Il Divo.

Sommerdahl joins Jonas Peker,wield Lindern, Stella Ringdahl, Hugo Andersson, Linnea Gawell, and S/EEEK in shaping Gabriella's new music colors: mature, emotional, and full of depth.

"Gabi has a rare voice that is able to penetrate the noise, honest, fragile, but strong. Working with him feels like catching lightning in a bottle," Sommerdahl said in his statement, Friday, September 5.

What amazed me the most was how Gabriella entered every session with a clear emotional vision. He's not just a singer, he's a singer," said Ringdahl.

Gabriella herself said that every song in this EP is part of her own healing process. This is a story about feelings of psychological hurt, about promises that are violated, and how I can survive in the middle of all that. But it's not just about sadness It's about finding the strength behind the wound.

The music video Little by Little was also released in conjunction with this EP, directed by Gustaf Weldy, and starring well-known actor Baskara Mahendra. The story illustrates a relationship full of conflict, overthinking, and betrayal.
