JAKARTA - Super Girlies gave the latest surprise in 2025. This girl group from Bandung officially re-released their iconic hit entitled "Aw Aw Aw" with a new formation that feels vintage and mature.

This song was released as part of the SUPERGIRLIES GEN 1 REUNION project, as well as marking the return of two old personnel, Dewi Hani Jayanti (Yui) and Opie, who were previously known as part of the group's pioneering generation.

With the joining of Yui and Opie with Kinanti, Mega, Sarah, and Laras, Super Girlies is entering a new era with interesting musicality. This latest version of the song "Aw Aw Aw" carries a spirit of friendship, packed with fresh music arrangements and beat catchy style Japan City Pop, a genre that is being loved by today's young generation.

"Aw Aw" can be heard on various digital and radio music streaming platforms throughout Indonesia starting Friday, September 5 tomorrow. At the same time, the Official Lyric Video will also be released, with the shooting process being carried out in Bandung.

The visual concept of this video synergizes with the artwork worked on by Ikeu and Erawan from Rocketroom Indonesia, presenting aesthetics that remain loyal to the character of Super Girlies.

All Super Girlies personnel are involved in the creative process, assisted by musician Yerri Meiryan (T-Five) as co-writers. The music arrangement was worked on by Bandung musicians, while the vocal recording process was assisted by Gege Gumilar, who is widely known in the Indonesian music industry.

With this comeback, Super Girlies hopes to reach cross-generational listeners, both old fans and new public who don't know their previous works. With a more mature musical approach, the group is ready to introduce new colors on their musical journey.
