The Lantis Introduces Terunjuk Diri Sebagai Single Pilihan Penggemar

JAKARTA - The band from Jakarta, The Lantis, has returned to greet Indonesian music lovers through a new single entitled Tertu Dirimu.

This song will be the second release in 2025, after the 'Ambang Rindu' which was launched last April.

The Lantis presented this single as a place to convey a message to a toxic, manipulative, or simply wondering why the relationship was carried out from the start.

"This is a kind of open letter to the former. Not for returns, but for saying: that's enough, thank you, start," said Giri, vocalist and bassist of The Lantis in a written broadcast, Sunday, August 17.

Before it was officially released, Giri, Ravi (guitar and vocals), Ojan (guitar), and Risyad (drums) had already shown Tertu Dirimu to fans through a series of showcases entitled The Lantis hosted by Undbodevan in three cities.

Last July, The Lantis also performed two songs that had not yet been released, while appearing in an intimate show at Salihara. Around 20 fans will determine which song will be released, until finally chosen Tertu untuk diri.

"We are very grateful so far for the support from the Old Family (as fans), because it is always on our relatively new journey. Therefore, we invite them to participate in providing input and options." Giri said.

The day that Terunjuk Dirimu was released, Keluarga Lantis was again invited to a celebration. The Lantis performs his new song in acoustic format. At this moment, fans are invited to throw away gifts from their formers.

The creative process involved Rendy Pandugo with Giant Prayash in writing songs, while Vega Antares was presented to be the vocal director.

“Semoga lagu ini bisa menemani teman-teman pendengar semua, terutama Keluarga Lantis dalam kesehariannya. Kami harap ini jadi sebuah simbol perayaan akan perasaan-perasaan tersebut, bahwa tidak semua hubungan ditakdirkan, dan tidak semua luka menyisakan kenangan manis,” pungkas Ravi.

Ravi added, the new single The Lantis is expected to be a friend for listeners who are facing a similar story.

"Hopefully this song can accompany all listeners, especially the Elderly Family in their daily lives. We hope this will be a symbol of celebration of these feelings, that not all relationships are destined, and not all wounds leave sweet memories," concluded Ravi.
